In the second edition of STREE Summit-2025, the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) is bringing together prominent leaders, experts, and advocates to promote dialogue and drive positive change in creating safer environments for women, in keeping with UN Women’s theme “For All Women and Girls – Rights Equality, and Empowerment.”
The Summit will take place at the Hotel Taj Deccan in Banjara Hills on April 15. HCSC’s STREE Summit 2025 programme seeks to address the particular safety issues that women confront in our society and emphasise the significance of gender equality in security and safety.
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner and HCSC Chairperson C.V. Anand said he was excited about the STREE Summit, saying that protecting women’s safety and security is not only his duty but also his moral commitment. In order to address the safety issues that women in our society confront, the STREE Summit provides an essential forum for us to collaborate, share experiences, and create workable solutions.
“STREE Summit is a testament to our commitment to gender equality and safety,” said C. Shekar Reddy, HCSC Secretary General. We think that empowering women is essential to building a more secure and safe future.
“STREE (She Triumphs Through Respect, Equality and Empowerment) is a continuous program that includes the communities in creating safe spaces for women and children,” Geeta Goti, Joint Secretary of the Women’s Forum, said. We think that fostering unity among people is greatly aided by inclusion.
With its interactive workshops, networking opportunities, keynote addresses by distinguished speakers, and lively panel discussions, the STREE Summit 2025 will provide a forum for cooperation and information sharing.
