Delhi Delhi: Newton School of Technology has announced India's first UG entrance exam – coding Newton Scolastic Aptitude Test (coding NSAT) focused on coding and fundamental programming skills. Interested technologists and students can apply for admission to Newton School of Technology in complexes of Sonipat, Pune and Bangalore. The first entrance examination of its kind for UG entry provides an innovative passage for passionate students towards practical programming, emphasizing practical skills compared to rote concepts. It is designed for those who have given more time to coding than traditional themes, it offers the option of traditional JEE route, which empowers students to show their talent and further their aspirations in a more inclusive and skill-oriented manner. The examination course will include subjects such as arithmetic, input and output, language basics, coding syntax, basic function, If-Els statement, loop, array and string. A total of 26 questions are divided into 2 sections, ie coding and MCQ, the total load of questions is 150 marks, including the ability to learn, pseudocoding and coding sections.

The MCQ questions are of a total of 80 marks, including negative marking, and the coding format has a total of 70 marks.
