Hero Karizma XMR 250 vs 210 : In the Indian motorcycle market, Hero MotoCorp is now preparing to strengthen its sports category to overtake the rivals. The company did the earliers with the first Karizma XMR 210 and now the expectations from Karizma XMR 250, displayed in EICMA 2024, have increased even more.
Looking at the XMR 250, it is clear that this bike is not only a powerful upgrade of XMR 210, but is also far ahead in terms of design, performance and track-capability. So let's know the changes in both these bikes, features and who will be better to choose.
engine
The XMR 210 has a 210cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which gives about 25.5bhp and 20.4Nm torque. At the same time, the new XMR 250 will be introduced with 250cc engine, which generates 30bhp and 25Nm torque. Along with this, it will get a 6-speed gearbox, which has also been seen in Hero's new Xtreme 250R.
Speed
The power delivery of Karizma XMR 250 and top speed will be better than the XMR 210. Hero has claimed that XMR 250 can catch a speed of 0-60 km/h in just 3.25 seconds.
Design
The XMR 210 already came with a sporty full-faired design, but the style of XMR 250 is even more aggressive and high speed. Split LED headlamps, sharp winglets and better fairing designs give it a glimpse of a superbike. The XMR 250 may have a slightly sports-raiding position, while in 210 it was balanced as a road-lower-rasing. In addition, features such as lap timer show that XMR 250 is designed keeping in mind the track performance.
price
While the price of XMR 210 starts at around Rs 1.79 lakh, the price of Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) for XMR 250 is estimated.
Launch
There is currently no official date regarding the launch of the new Karizma XMR 250, but it is expected that it will be launched in the market in late May 2025 or early June.
