Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has expressed his opinion on the declining passion in the Hindi film industry and the progress of South Indian cinema. He believes that earlier films were made in Bollywood with the passion and dedication, but it has reduced now. At the same time, South Indian cinema learned from Bollywood and made itself technically and creatively better.
During an interview recently, Sunny Deol said that the Hindi film industry is no longer like a passion left, as it used to be before. He said that South Indian cinema is overshadowed everywhere because they are making films for the audience and not for a particular class.
When Sunny Deol was asked whether Bollywood actors should also learn something from South Indian artists, they replied, "The way we used to make cinema earlier, the passion with which films used to be made is now becoming less. The people of South learned from us and went ahead and they made tremendous progress also technically. They make their films for the audience, not for a limited audience."
Sunny Deol further said that the magic of South Indian films goes on everywhere, but I do not know why we have forgotten to do all this in the middle. There can be many reasons behind this. We started making remakes of her films and she became a hit at the box office. This clearly shows that our producers, writers and directors do not have passion and trust as before."
Sunny Deol also said that the real hero of the film is his story and the director does the work of making him alive. They said, "If we trust both these things, then we should work accordingly. But if we feel that we know everything. Today there are many monitors on the set and everyone gives their opinion. So this is why mistakes start happening."
Sunny Deol will soon be seen in his upcoming film 'Jat'. It is a tremendous action thriller film, written and directed by Gopichand Malineni. This is his first Hindi film. The film has been produced by Maithri Movie Makers and Peepal Media Factory. In the film, Regina Casendra is playing the lead female character alongside Sunny Deol, while Randeep Hooda will be seen in the role of Villain. Apart from this, the film also includes actors like Ayesha Khan, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, Vineet Kumar Singh, Dayanand Shetty, Jagapathi Babu and Prashant Bajaj. The film is set to release in theaters on April 10.
