Param Singh has been currently delighting his fans with his performance as Neil in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin . Now in an exclusive conversation with Times Of India TV, the actor got candid about his love for theatre on celebrating World Theatre Day . Here's what he shared:
His journey with theatre

I have been doing Theatre since 2011, then I got into TV shows. After 2021, I began with theatre again, I learnt a lot while performing plays; I learnt about script analysis , characterisation , discipline, and persistence. How every day you perform the same thing and yet it needs to look fresh, how you focus and how you use your body and speech for the character. The stage has helped me in gaining confidence, understanding the nuances of acting and how to remain fresh, new and impulsive even if its your 50th show.

On understanding the nuances of acting

I have done Henry Gibson's plays, where the text is so rich, so I understand what the writer is trying to say. I love to act, so it can be on any platform. In camera at times when there are closeups you can't move your body but in Theatre you whole body expresses. You can go all out; there is no cut, and that is the best part. You go on from scene to scene for the set duration and act in a single take.
Param shared about his routine

Param had earlier shared, "Eating a well-balanced diet helps provide the calories and nutrients needed for daily activities, including workouts. I follow intermittent fasting and prefer meals with brown rice, vegetables, and lentils. I enjoy fresh fruits and juices while completely avoiding junk food, alcohol, and smoking. The key is listening to your body and maintaining a balance between what feels right and what benefits your health."
