Abhishek Prakash, senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer suspended in Uttar Pradesh, is constantly in discussion due to serious allegations of corruption. Bareilly DM Abhishek Prakash has been facing serious allegations of benami properties and grabbing government land. BJP leader Mahesh Pandey highlighted the matter and claimed that he has done a big scam in the name of International City Project in Bareilly.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Mahesh Pandey from Bareilly said sensationally claimed that Abhishek has done a big scam in the name of International City Project in Bareilly. This township of about Rs 8000 crore includes 600 acres of government land, which was captured through his close builder Raju Khandelwal.
Mahesh Pandey also alleged that IAS Abhishek Prakash had bought a lot of benami properties in Amla, Sadar and Faridpur tehsils. His money was invested through many builders. He is also accused of allegedly constructing 113 ponds in Bareilly's International City Project. This construction is also a violation of the orders of the Supreme Court.
BJP leader Mahesh Pandey claimed that Abhishek Prakash used his influence and illegally occupied many government lands. Mahesh Pandey, who took the matter to the High Court, has now prepared to file a complaint in the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
In the case of corruption, action was taken against Abhishek on behalf of the Yogi government and he was suspended from the administrative service. Now the ED has started investigating their properties. BJP leader Mahesh Pandey said that he is fully committed to taking the matter to a decisive turn.
The ED is now investigating IAS Abhishek Prakash and his colleagues. Mahesh Pandey said that he too will soon file a complaint against him in the ED. He claims that Bareilly land mafia Raju Khandelwal, Vipin Aggarwal and others were working under the patronage of Abhishek.
Not only this, Mahesh Pandey also targeted the Bareilly Development Authority (BDA), which is limited to paperwork.
Earlier on March 20, the Uttar Pradesh government suspended the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) IAS officer of UP, Abhishek Prakash, in view of several allegations of corruption and irregularities.
Abhishek Prakash is a 2006 batch IAS officer. He was suspended after filing a complaint on behalf of an investor of the solar industry. In the complaint, the investor had alleged that the middleman Nikant Jain had demanded a commission for the approval of the project in the name of Abhishek Prakash. Nikant Jain was arrested.
