The Mohan Road Housing Scheme is anticipated to be approved by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) on March 27 in order to alleviate the capital’s housing deficit. Additionally, with registrations for both schemes anticipated to open around Navratri, the selling of apartments in Devpur Para may soon begin.

Divisional Commissioner Dr. Roshan Jacob will preside over the LDA board meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday at 11 AM at the LDA auditorium. Dr. Jacob recently examined the Mohan Road Housing Scheme, which is one of the main initiatives on the agenda. A 60-meter lane that connects Mohan lane to the Ring Road may also be taken into consideration by the board.

In the meanwhile, half of the apartments in Devpur Para are finished, and a proposal for their reservation will be made. If accepted, registration will open, providing low-income individuals (LIG) with affordable housing.

2,000 apartments, comprising EWS (Economically Weaker Section), MIG (Middle-Income Group), and Mini HIG (High-Income Group) units, are being built under this program. More than 800 apartments have already been finished, and the remaining ones should be ready in the next two years.

In addition, the board will talk about the registration procedure, costs, installment plans, discounts, and payment schedules. An online registration gateway will be made available upon approval. Notably, these apartments are being constructed on the grounds of previously occupied, unsold, and structurally unstable homes.

Addressing the Ansal API problem and lowering flat costs are two more important agenda issues.
