Roorkee (Uttarakhand) [India]: India’s first Ivy-Grade Summer School Program has been launched by HOAG, the country’s first immersive summer school program, in collaboration with iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee. This innovative project will revolutionize summer education in India by providing children ages 11 to 17 with an academic experience that is on par with the best summer programs in the world.
For many years, Indian students who wanted to attend prestigious summer schools had to venture west, enrolling in courses at Ivy League colleges and other prestigious international establishments. By delivering a top-tier, research-based, and immersive academic experience to Indian shores, HOAG fills this need. The curriculum aims to combine demanding coursework with practical experience, initiatives driven by innovation, and guidance from some of the most accomplished individuals in both academia and business.
Board member and CEO of iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, Manish Anand, said, “Our collaboration with HOAG offers India an Ivy-Grade summer school experience. We provide students a special chance for immersive learning that closes the gap between Indian and international standards and cultivates future leaders by fusing academic brilliance with HOAG’s creative teaching methodology.”
The need of such a program was emphasized by Dr. Gaurav Trivedi, Professor in the EEE Department and Principal Investigator at the E&ICT Academy and Daksh Gurukul, IIT Guwahati, who said, “India has a growing need for high-quality, immersive learning experiences that go beyond traditional classroom learning.” We want to provide young Indian children the chance to participate in a really top-notch summer school program that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving abilities via our partnership with HOAG. Through this program, our students will be able to get intellectual exposure that was previously exclusive to international universities.
We are excited to collaborate with IIT Roorkee’s iHUB DivyaSampark to provide young Indian students with an incredibly life-changing educational experience. We want to give students an experience that is on par with, if not better than, the international summer school programs they have sought overseas, thanks to the heritage of one of India’s top universities and our proficiency in designing immersive learning experiences,” stated Mr. Adetya VN Chopra, HOAG’s founder.
A major change in India’s educational environment is being brought about by this program, opening the door for a day when Western colleges will no longer be the only ones offering top-notch summer school experiences. The HOAG-iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee alliance aims to raise the bar for summer learning with its cutting-edge facilities, mentoring from top educators, and curriculum that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
