Rajasthan EWS Admission 2025: The Rajasthan government has started the application process for economically weaker section (EWS) students to take admitted in private schools under the RTI Act for the academic year 2025. The last date to apply for this is 7 April 2025. In such a situation, parents who are willing to get their children admitted in class 1 under this should apply before 7 April 2025, which is the last date for this.

Let us tell you that under the RTI Act, 25 percent of the seats in private schools are reserved for EWS students. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that children from all sections get an opportunity to study in private schools. Every year, thousands of parents apply for admission of their children in Class 1 under this provision between March and April. The students will be selected on the basis of the lottery system.

As per the official schedule, the seat lottery process will continue till April 9, depending on the number of seats available. Selected students will be able to choose any one of the five schools mentioned in their application form. The names of the selected students will be published online after the lottery draw list. Parents have been advised to carry all the necessary documents with them. So that they do not face any trouble during the verification process. The document and verification process will be done between April 9 and 15.

Who is eligible?

Children who meet the specific age and residence criteria under the RTE Act are eligible for Rajasthan EWS Admission 2025. As per the new education policy, students applying for admission to Class 1 must be at least six years old as of July 31, 2025. Additionally, the child must be between six and seven years of age to be eligible for admission in Class 1. Especially RTE admission is a one-time opportunity, if a child is not selected in the current session then he/she will not be eligible in future years.
