As Gujarat Titans take on Punjab Kings in the 5th match of IPL 2025, all eyes will be on Shubman Gill’s new bat. While Gill has already used this bat in international cricket, this will be the first time he uses it in the IPL.

What’s New in Gill’s Bat?

  • The design remains the same, but the sticker has changed.

  • CEAT branding has been replaced by MRF, as Gill signed a ₹8-9 crore annual deal with MRF in March 2025.

Performance with the New Bat

  • Gill has played two international matches with the MRF-branded bat, scoring just 39 runs at an average of 19.50.

  • However, his record at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, suggests a big innings is on the cards.

Ahmedabad: Gill’s Favorite Hunting Ground

  • 1079 T20 runs at the venue

  • Average: 71.93

  • Strike Rate: 163.23

With familiar conditions and a fresh brand backing him, will Gill’s bat explode in IPL 2025? Fans are eagerly waiting for a captain’s knock!
