Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) in Uttar Pradesh is taking rapid action against illegal occupations. In this campaign, the Authority removed the illegal occupation done on the land reserved for IT City and consumed about 100 acres of land. IT City Scheme:
The IT City Scheme of Lucknow Development Authority (LDA), which is based on 1710 acres of land located between Sultanpur Road and Kisan Path, is an important step towards accelerating the development of technical and industrial sector in Uttar Pradesh. Under this scheme, there are plans to develop residential plots, group housing, commercial areas, industries, transportation networks, lush green areas and water bodies.
The project will not only promote the state's economy, but is an important step towards converting Lucknow into a major IT hub. The scheme promises to create major changes in the field of infrastructure along with the creation of new employment opportunities in the state.
Action on illegal possession
The issue of illegal occupation on land for the IT City scheme was revealed when it was found that the land mafia were occupying this reserved land and constructing illegal colonies. The administration took this situation seriously and planned quick action. Officials launched a campaign to demolish illegal colonies and vacate the land.
Illegal constructions were demolished in Parehata village in the presence of police force under the leadership of zonal officer Shashi Bhushan Pathak. During this time, the boundary wall there was also broken. Zonal officer Ravi Nand Singh said that the campaign is being carried out continuously and strict action will be taken against such illegal occupations in future.
Effectiveness of action
After this action, the administration ensured that the occupation of all the land areas prescribed for IT City was completely lifted. By freeing about 100 acres of land, the authority gave a message that illegal occupations will no longer be tolerated. This action clarifies the intention of the administration, which will no longer tolerate any kind of corruption or illegal activities.
Apart from this, Pratham Kumar, vice -president of Lucknow Development Authority, clarified the importance of this scheme, saying that the development of IT City will strengthen the economy of Lucknow and Uttar Pradesh and will lead the state to the technical field.
