TV personality and former soldier Ant Middleton has been banned from being a company director after his business failed to pay more than £1 million in tax. The former SAS: Who Dares Wins star and his wife Emilie failed to ensure their company paid £300,000 in VAT and £800,000 in corporation tax between 2019 and 2022, the Government’s Insolvency Service found.
Sway and Starting Limited, which was described as offering media representation services, was set up to manage income from Mr Middleton’s television and media work.
In 2021, said it would not work with Middleton again on SAS: Who Dares Wins following discussions with the adventurer over his “personal conduct”. He faced a backlash over comments he made about the Black Lives Matter protests and coronavirus.
Middleton hit back, saying it was his decision to quit the programme because it had become a “reality show”. He was replaced by US Marine Rudy Reyes.

Middleton suggested that it would take him just six months to make London 'The most secure place on the planet" adding: "I will not rest until London is ours again."
