On Monday morning, four family members were discovered dead in an apartment in the city’s Visvesvaraya Nagar. Kushal (15), Chetan (45), Rupali (43), and Priyamvada (62) are the names of the dead. He apparently killed himself after that. Inspector Mohit of Vidyaranyapuram, DCP Jahnavi, and City Police Commissioner Seema Latkar came to look into the incident. The Vidyaranyapuram Police Station has received a case. According to Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, the event happened within the boundaries of the Vidyaranyapuram police station.

The apartments where Chetan’s mother, Priyamvada, and her family resided were next to each other. The boy resided in one apartment and the mother in another. She further said that on Sunday, Priyamvada’s and Chetan’s families had traveled to Gorur in the Hassan area. In the evening, they went back to their homes after visiting the Gorur shrine. Chetan, the dead, was a Gorur native. Rupali, Chetan’s wife, lived in Mysore.

Since 2019, Chetan and Rupali have resided in Mysore. The police are looking into the matter after filing a report. Chetan operated an employment agency that sent employees to Saudi Arabia. Police believe that the pressure of debt is what killed them all.

Chetan left a dying letter before to taking his own life. “We are accountable for our own demises,” it said. Financial issues are killing us. Our deaths are no one else’s fault. Don’t bother my family or friends. Please pardon us; I apologize. Investigations have been started by the police.
