presenter has spoken out about how fake nude photos of herself were posted online and branded it the "most humiliating day of my life." She said was "used to" seeing misleading stories about herself, but these images left her "mortified."


The broadcaster stated: "Paid-for advertisements are popping up across and , some including crudely mocked-up images of me naked - my face badly photoshopped onto someone else's body.


"I was both mortified and bemused, curious about who would pay good money to spread such obvious nonsense."


Naga added to : "And what was their motive? Is it something malicious? Someone with an axe to grind?"



After an investigation with the BBC 5 Live production team, she learned that her "name and image were being used by scammers to try to hoodwink people out of money."


By clicking on the social media paid-for advertisements, people would then be taken to a fake news article complete with the logo and imagery.


According to the fake article, Naga had been detained by the government after a "controversial" interview on 's .


She had allegedly given viewers details about a "lucrative loophole" to make money.



Speaking on the fake website, the broadcaster added: "It contained links to a scam cyber trading website, which has now been taken down after my production team reported it to the BBC legal team."


This isn't the first time , as she was previously forced to warn face about a fake account created by someone impersonating her.


The Instagram account used a photo of Naga during her appearance on The Weakest Link as its profile picture alongside a bio that read: "Born to be real. Personal private account for text."


Naga quickly informed fans that this was not her, confirming that she only has one Instagram account and penned: "This account is not mine. It is impersonating me. My account is @tvnaga."
