Scarlett Moffatt penned an emotional farewell to her best friend David 'Ivo' Iveson in a tribute after his death from cancer.
The legend said he "didn't deserve this" in a heartbreaking tribute shared on Instagram on Tuesday (February 4).
The I'm A Celebrity star, 34, said she would miss Iveson "every day" and their "2am texting club" as she recalled their decades of friendship.
Alongside a series of photos of herself with Iveson, including at Winter Wonderland and Disneyland, she opened up about spending time with him during his final moments.
Scarlett began: "My best friend Ivo [heartbreak emoji] I've never felt grief before & I don't know how to write this caption, I will love you always & I will feel eternally grateful for the decades of friendship we had.
"I will always cherish these last few weeks and remember how I got to hold your hand & tell you how much I love you and tell you what you meant to me - oh and our 2am texting club. Every day you will be missed."
Referencing Iveson's partner Charlotte and son Archie, the TV presenter continued: "You didn't deserve any of this and I will forever hate cancer for what it's done. We will always be there for Charlotte & baby Archie. Love you to the stars and back @the_real_ivo."
Scarlett's 2.4 million followers flocked to the comment section as many offered their condolences.
One penned: "Thinking of you & sending love can't believe you've lost a best pal who meant so much to you RIP Ivo."
Another commented: "Losing a best friend hits different, harder some how. I'm so sorry for your loss. From one bereaved friend to another."
"Lifes so cruel, so young too. Thinking of you," a third wrote.
A fourth added: "My heart goes out to you and all those who are hurting. I'm so sorry."
