Many stars in Bollywood make a place in people’s hearts on the strength of their name and work, but there are some who lack happiness in their personal lives. One such actor was **Vinod Mehra**, whose life story was not a pleasant one. Despite four marriages, he always struggled with loneliness and left this world at the age of 45.
Vinod Mehra’s demise was a serious shock. He left his pregnant wife Kiran Mehra and one year old daughter alone. Kiran was expecting her second child when she passed away. Vinod’s sudden demise took a heavy toll on his family.
**Vinod Mehra** was born on 13 February 1945 in Amritsar. He started his career with the 1958 film **’Ragini’**, but gained recognition as a lead actor with 1971’s **’Ek Thi Rita’**. The biggest success of his career came from the 1972 film **’Anurag’**. Subsequently, he worked in around 100 films including **’Anurodh’**, **’Amar Prem’**, and **’Nagin’**.
Vinod Mehra’s first marriage took place on the wish of his mother. After this he married actress Bindiya Goswami, but this relationship also did not last more than four years. After this he married Kiran Mehra for the third time. Their relationship faced various challenges, especially the displeasure of Kiran’s father.
Vinod Mehra married a total of four times, but his fourth marriage never got validity. His personal life was not always ordinary. His children, **Sonia** and **Rohan**, have also entered Bollywood, but have failed to replicate their father’s success.
Vinod Mehra’s story tells that no matter how much success and fame a person achieves, he does not always experience happiness in his personal life.
