UP Board: Now a new change is going to happen in Uttar Pradesh. Here in 28,529 schools affiliated to UP board here, the method of attendance will change completely from Tuesday. Now the attendance of all students and teachers will be recorded online. For this, the Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has developed a special portal and mobile application, making the appearance system transparent and technically stronger.
Under this new system, now students and teachers will register attendance online from the school premises. The schools will have to login through the board’s official website www.upmsp.edu.in or the ‘upmsp-attendance’ app available on the Google Play Store. This login will be done through the previously provided login ID and password to schools.
Giving information to the media, Board Secretary Bhagwati Prasad Singh said that the attendance of students and all teachers from class 9th to 12th will be recorded daily through mobile app or portal. This process will have to be completed in the first period of the school. Also, it will be mandatory for every student to identify in sections (A, B, C, D, E etc.) according to their class.
In the event of students or teachers in this online attendance system, the reason for their leave will also have to be clearly recorded, such as medical leave, casual leave, or approved holiday. This new initiative is being implemented in the state, aided and private schools without private.
The aim of the board is to bring transparency in attendance through this system, to stop fake attendance and to connect the education system with technology. The Board Secretary has instructed all the principals to ensure that the system is seriously followed and monitor the regular attendance of the students.
