Himachal cloud burst: In many districts of Himachal Pradesh, there has been an outcry due to cloudburst on Wednesday. Especially, cloudburst has been confirmed at four different places in Banjar, Gadsa, Manikaran and Sainj areas of Kullu district. So far, bodies of many people have been recovered in this disaster, while more than 12 people are said to be missing.
After these incidents of cloudburst, many videos are going viral on social media, in which the scene of destruction can be seen clearly. In a video, trees and debris are seen flowing in the strong current of Beas river. At the same time, in another video, a strong flow of water seems to pass through the vehicles parked in the Parvati valley. Tourists and locals are seen crossing the bridge scared.
It can be clearly seen in the video revealed from Kasol’s Ghan Nala Parking that many vehicles were washed away due to strong current. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people. Sharing the video on X (East Twitter), it was written that flood -like conditions have been created again in Kullu. People are scared of the repetition of the horrific tragedy of 2023 and are praying.
The disappearance of 5 laborers has been confirmed in Khaniyara, Kangra. While three bodies were recovered. However, according to the latest information, four bodies have been removed in Dharamshala. Three people have gone missing in the district. One person is injured.
Giving information from Shimla, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in many districts of Himachal next 24 hours. Orange alert has been issued for Kullu, Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur and Solan districts. At the same time, heavy rain has also been warned in some areas of Una.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh said that in Himachal, clouds burst at three places, while flash floods have come in 9 places. Those who have damaged electrical projects. Two NH have also been badly damaged. 15 houses have been damaged. Fifty people were trapped in it, out of which 31 people have been rescued. The Chief Minister has advised tourists not to go on the banks of river drains.
