CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Registration Extended: If you have not been able to apply for CSIR UGC NET June till now, then there is no need to worry. Giving relief to the candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of application till June 26, 2025. Interested candidates can apply online by visiting csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The new last date for registration has been fixed as June 26 till 11:59 pm, while the last date for fee payment is June 27. The correction window will be open from June 28 to 29, during which candidates can make corrections to their forms.

Exam Date
The exam is scheduled to be held on July 26, 27, and 28 in computer-based test (CBT) mode. The medium of the paper is both English and Hindi. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes or three hours and the paper will consist of multiple-choice objective-type questions. There will be five papers in the exam Chemistry, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.

Candidates are advised to fill out the form only once. Under no circumstances, candidates will be allowed to fill out more than one application form.

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET Exam June-2025 is an examination to determine the eligibility of Indian citizens for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to PhD.

This much will be the application fee.

General category candidates applying for CSIR NET June 2025 will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,150, while the application fee for General Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates is Rs 600. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 325.
