SBI PO Recruitment 2025: If you want to make a career in the banking sector, then there is great news for you. State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for recruitment to 541 posts of Probationary Officer (PO). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online from today i.e. 24 June 2025 to 14 July 2025.

SBI PO Vacancy 2025: Details of posts

A total of 541 posts will be appointed under the PO Recruitment 2025 released by SBI. Of these, 203 posts are reserved for the General (UR) category, 135 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBC), 50 posts for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), 37 posts for Scheduled Caste (SC), and 75 posts for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates.

Qualification and Age Limit

Candidates applying for SBI PO Recruitment 2025 must have a graduation degree in any subject from a recognized university. Additionally, students who are in their final year and whose results will be declared by 31 December 2025 can also apply for this recruitment, provided they can produce proof of their degree at the time of selection.

Talking about the age limit, the age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as of 1 April 2025. That is, the candidate applying should not have been born before 2 April 1995 and after 1 April 2004. Reserved categories will get the benefit of age relaxation, SC/ST category candidates are given 5 years of relaxation in the maximum age limit and OBC category candidates are given 3 years of relaxation, which will be applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee

Candidates applying for SBI PO Recruitment 2025 have to pay the application fee as per the category. The application fee for General, OBC, and Economically Weaker Section candidates has been fixed at Rs 750. At the same time, no fee will be charged to the candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Divyang categories.

Salary Structure

Talking about the salary structure, the selected candidates will be given a basic pay of Rs 48,480 initially, which will include 4 advance increments. The pay scale of SBI PO will be ₹ 48,480 - ₹ 85,920. Apart from this, candidates will also be provided many other government allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA), and Medical Allowance.
