Popular TV actress Lata Sabharwal, known for her role as Akshara’s mother Rajshri in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has announced her separation from husband Sanjeev Seth, who played Akshara’s father Vishambar Maheshwari in the show. The couple, cherished by fans for their on-screen and off-screen bond, had been married since 2010.


Lata shared the news on her Instagram, confirming their separation but did not explicitly mention divorce. In her post, she wished Sanjeev well for his future and thanked him for their “very lovely son.” She also requested fans to respect their privacy and refrain from sending messages or calls at this time.


Rumors about their marital troubles had been circulating for some time, but this is the first official confirmation from Lata herself.
