JCECE BSc Nursing 2025: Applications for the Jharkhand BSc Nursing 2025 admission process have started today from 18th June. As per the notification issued, interested candidates can apply online till 11th July 2025. After this, the facility of correction in the application form will be given on 12th July, so that the students can correct their mistakes.



The competitive examination for the BSc Nursing (Basic) course will be held on 26th July 2025 from 10 am to 12:30 pm. At the same time, the examination of BSc Nursing (Post Basic) will be held on the same day i.e. on 26th July from 2 pm to 4 pm.



Eligibility for BSc Nursing



According to the information released by the Jharkhand Joint Entrance Competitive Examination Board, the age of the candidate should be a minimum of 17 years as of 31st December 2025 for enrollment in the BSc Nursing (Basic) course. Apart from this, the candidate is required to have passed the 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects. A minimum of 45% marks have been made mandatory for the general category. It will be mandatory for all the female students to stay in the hostel during the course.



For admission in the post-basic course, the candidate must have passed the 12th class as well as obtained a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) certificate. This course is for those candidates who have already taken basic training in nursing and want to pursue higher education.



Fee for general and backward class



Candidates of general category, economically weaker section (EWS), backward caste 1 (BC-I), and backward caste 2 (BC-II) applying for B.Sc. Nursing (Basic/Post Basic) course will have to pay an application fee of Rs 900.



Relief to SC/ST and women of all categories

The application fee has been fixed at Rs 450 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, and women candidates of all categories.



Basic Nursing Exam Pattern

The B.Sc. The nursing (Basic) exam will be conducted in an Objective Type. The total exam will be 150 marks, in which questions of 50-50 marks will be asked from each subject from the three major subjects of Intermediate (Science) level, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes. The Post Basic Nursing exam will be a of total 100 marks and it will be based on A grade nursing syllabus. In this, too the questions will be objective type.

Login fill out the form and upload the documents.



Now pay the online fee and submit the form.
