This time a total of 131 matches will be played in the tournament, in which 9 major test-playing countries will compete among themselves to become the champion of WTC.


Talking about the last WTC season, South Africa defeated Australia in the final to win the World Test Championship title for the first time, due to which this time the tournament is going to be even more interesting.


This new season of the World Test Championship will begin with a match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. This test will be played in Galle. The special thing is that with this match, Sri Lankan veteran player Angelo Matthews will say goodbye to his international career. That is, WTC 2025-27 will begin with the farewell of a big player.
