A 12-year-old girl from Nagpur, Maharashtra, sustained serious injuries after falling from a height of 30 feet when a zip line snapped mid-air while she was riding.

The shocking incident was caught on a phone camera, showing her falling to the ground.

The girl has been identified as Trisha Bijwe, who had come to Manali on a holiday trip with her parents.

According to reports, the incident took place on 8 June; however, the video of the incident surfaced on social media recently.

Reportedly, Trisha sustained several fractures in her leg after the fall. She had been receiving treatment at a private hospital in Manali but was later referred to a hospital in Chandigarh for further care.

The Bijwe family has alleged a lack of security measures at the zip line site and claimed they did not receive immediate help after the incident.

The girl’s father told The Times of India that Trisha has been discharged from the hospital and is now stable.
