Alia Bhatt became a mother to a beautiful baby girl Raha in November 2022. Ever since then, both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia are just doting parents to their baby girl. The actress was at the Cannes Film Festival recently where she was asked about how motherhood has changed her and she revealed that she's a completely new person now. Alia also revealed that she has more empathy now.
The 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' actress said during a chat with Brut India, “I think your heart is just wide open. There is a sensitivity which you can’t put your finger on. I just think I am not the same person. So by the byproduct of me not being the same human being that I was pre being a mom. I think naturally a lot will change without me being like, ‘Okay, now I am a mother’. I just naturally think differently. These are the first things that I noticed. It was like there was this person which was just gone, and then I was like, ‘Who am I? Who is this new person?'"

She further revealed how only mothers can understand this feeling. She added, "I can have silent conversation with new moms and they will get exactly what I am saying. The thought and presence of her is always with me. You don’t think about yourself very often. That’s the biggest thing that has changed. You become outward to that one person and then to everyone else. Everyone’s pain, tears, affects you as though it is your child’s pain and tears. You look at the world with your child’s perspective. You are just wide open.”
Alia also said that she never now feels alone, she always feels like Raha is with her and on her mind all the time.
While Alia was at the Cannes Film Festival, Ranbir was a doting father to Raha. He was here taking care of her and was spotted at Mount Mary's church in Bandra with Raha while Alia was at Cannes.
