Especially in countries like Hong Kong and Singapore, new cases of Corona have increased rapidly. At the same time, the situation is being monitored in India too. The Ministry of Health has said that the situation is completely under control, but vigilance is necessary.
Worse situation in Asia
Singapore has registered a 28% increase in cases of Corona. At present, there are 14,200 Kovid cases active there, which are increasing pressure on the health services of the country. The number of people admitted to hospitals has also seen an increase of about 30%. On the other hand, Hong Kong has reported 31 serious Kovid cases within a week. These figures have increased the concern of health agencies.
257 active cases in India
The situation is being monitored in India too. Since May 12, 164 new cases of Corona have been reported in the country, due to which the number of active cases has increased to 257. Of these, states like Kerala, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu are the most affected. However, most of these cases are with mild symptoms and there is no need to hospitalized.
Health Ministry statement: Status under control
The Ministry of Health, Government of India has issued an important statement regarding the current situation of Korona. The ministry has said that currently the conditions of Kovid-19 in India are under control. On May 19, a high -level review meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Director General of Health Services, which included experts from the National Center for Disease Control, Emergency Relief Division, Disaster Management Cell, ICMR and Central Government Hospitals.
