Maharashtra: Fierce fire in Taulia factory of Solapur, 3 killed, rescue continues

News India Live, Digital Desk: Solapur city of Maharashtra A fierce fire broke out in a towel -making factory on Sunday morning in Akkalkot MIDC area, killing at least three people. The fire broke out in the Central Industry Factory at around 3 am and it became very vicious, after which a large -scale emergency response was required.

Fire brigade as soon as the information is received Teams reached the spot and started the work of rescue and fire extinguishing. Three laborers were taken out of the burning building and rushed to the nearest hospital. His condition is said to be critical. Even after several hours of hard work, the fire could not be controlled till morning. Officials suspect that five to six more workers may still be stranded inside the factory.

The factory used to have a towel, due to which the fire spread rapidly. This happened because the material kept in the factory was flammable. Eyewitnesses said that they saw large flames in the premises, which were visible from far away.

A large number of fire fighting personnel and police officers have been deployed at the scene. Efforts are on to extinguish the fire and potentially trapped people. The officials have not been able to ascertain the exact cause of the fire yet.
