The popular Channel 4 programme, , took an unexpected twist when a renovation project was abruptly halted.
The show, which returned to our screens on Wednesday evening (April 2) with Kevin McCloud at the helm, featured couple Sarah and Pip in its latest episode.

He even cautioned them that they "don't have enough money" to see it through. True to his prediction, the couple soon exceeded their initial budget of £420k.
However, the real hiccup came when an archaeologist discovered an 18th or 19th-century glass bottle on site, leading to a halt in construction.
Matters worsened when an inspector from Historic England arrived and stopped the excavation. The couple's builder then contacted Pip to verify if they had permission to dig in the area.
It transpired that they had overlooked obtaining the correct consent, leading to a very worried Sarah admitting: "It's very serious, so of course I'm panicked.", reports .
She further explained: "It is a legal requirement for us to follow the right process, if we don't, they can fine you up to £10,000. We obviously don't want that," Consequently, the renovation was temporarily shut down.
Subsequently, Kevin popped by the construction site to catch up with the couple and get their account of the events. Thankfully, everything was back on course. Pip confided in the presenter: "It was terrifying, it was pretty upsetting."
Inquiring further, Kevin asked: "Did they accept that it was a genuine mistake?" To which Pip replied: "Yeah, I think the fact we had an archaeologist here proved the fact we weren't trying to cover things up.
"So they got the agreements sorted quickly," he added.
By the finale of the episode, Pip and Sarah proudly presented their revamped home and disclosed that their budget had expanded by £120k, totalling £540k.
