Adani Gangavaram Port on Tuesday announced the deployment of two new WDG3A locomotives to its railway infrastructure, marking a major milestone in boosting the port’s productivity and capacity.

The port’s dedication to creating a smooth logistics network that facilitates quick and effective cargo transportation across the area is in line with this strategic improvement.

These projects are intended to support the expanding demands of the region’s logistics needs and improve the rail infrastructure within the port as part of the ongoing efforts to increase capacity and productivity at the port, which also include improvements to its railway network, improved cargo handling facilities, and expansion of storage and warehousing solutions.

Two more cranes were put into service during the previous quarter to increase vessel productivity. By concentrating on and investing in infrastructure for cargo handling and railroad capabilities, the port has exceeded its prior records in terms of its marine, railway, road, and conveyor facilities.

“The port offers substantial economic benefits to Indian importers combined with highly efficient port operations and an evacuation system with a faster turnaround time and delivery, deriving trade benefits from modern deep-water infrastructure,” said the management of Adani Gangavaram Port Limited.
