The four suspects—B Govinda Rao, S Anil, B Rama Suresh, and A Bala Raju—were located and taken into custody by the police in a matter of hours. S. Uma Maheswara Rao was identified as the drug trafficking operation’s mastermind by the inquiry.

The area’s professional ganja merchant, S. Uma Maheswara Rao, is now dealing with eight cases, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Vakul Jindal. He still manages the company via his colleagues even though he is incarcerated. The SP further revealed that Uma Maheswara Rao’s property, valued at Rs 2 crore, had earlier been taken, but he continues to engage in the drug trade by obtaining ganja from Odisha and shipping it to Delhi.

Authorities are taking tough measures against drug dealers and peddlers, according to the SP. Officials in attendance were DSP G Bhavya Reddy, CIs K Narayana Rao, A V Leela Rao, and R K Chowdary.
