Actress Sai Pallavi, set to portray Maa Sita in the upcoming epic 'Ramayana', shared her unique approach to the revered character. She revealed that she approached the role with a sense of surrender and prayer, aiming to remain 'transparent' to receive the character's inherent wisdom.
Pallavi, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey, discussed their experiences on the sets of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. Bachchan welcomed the trio, expressing pride in their involvement with such a significant project.
Responding to Bachchan's question about their initial thoughts on taking up these iconic roles, Pallavi stated, "This time, I did not want to use my mind too much. Whenever I play a character, I usually think about what I can do for it. But for the first time, while playing Sita Maa, I wondered, 'What will I receive from this experience? What knowledge will I gain?'"
She emphasized her desire to approach the character without preconceived notions, explaining, "Whatever I knew, I wanted to keep it that transparent. I didn’t want to let myself think too much. I simply prayed and said, 'Mother, please let me play that role through me,' and left it at that." Amitabh Bachchan lauded her thoughtful response.
