Bypoll Results 2026 : The counting of votes for the by-elections for six seats in four states of the country has started today, Friday, October 9. Tamil Naduthe results of a Lok Sabha constituency in Assam along with assembly constituencies in West Bengal and Puducherry have caught the attention of political circles. 80.25 percent polling in Dharapuram

A total of 22 candidates were in the fray in the Dharapuram assembly constituency. 80.25 percent voting was recorded in this constituency. Counting of votes by L.R.G. After that, counting of votes in electronic voting machines will be done in 23 rounds from 8.30 am onwards. More than 300 security personnel have been deployed at the counting center. It is expected that the initial trend will emerge by 11 am, while the picture of the result will be clear by 2 pm.

The results of Nandigram in East Medinipur district of West Bengal and Reginagar assembly constituencies in Murshidabad district have received special attention. In Nandigram, the election took a different turn when Trinamool Congress candidate Sanchita Pradhan Dey withdrew her nomination at the last minute. After his withdrawal, political analysts are expressing the possibility of BJP candidate Hasi Rani Rath's victory.
