In the finale of Miss World 2026, Joheri Mola Dominguez of Dominican Republic registered a spectacular victory and won the crown of Miss World, one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. In the grand finale held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, Johari Mola won this title, leaving behind competitors from all over the world. With her win, the Dominican Republic has won the Miss World pageant for the second time. Earlier, Mariasela Alvarez of this country had won the Miss World title in 1982.


In the finale, Spain's Elizabeth Reynes was the first runner up while Malaysia's Tanusia Chetty was the second runner up. There was a tough competition among the beauties who reached the final round of the competition. Miss World 2026 was organized amid the celebration of the 75th year of the pageant and this time contestants from a total of 111 countries took part in it.


On behalf of India, Nikita Porwal from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh represented the country at Miss World 2026. She was expected to give India the Miss World crown once again but her journey could not progress beyond the top 40. Nikita missed a place in the top 20. However, his performance and his style of presenting Indian culture was much discussed during the competition.
