Mumbai: Ranveer Singh recently appeared in a Reliance documentary, where he reflected on his journey with ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’.
The actor also opened up about the challenges involved in bringing the ambitious franchise to the big screen.
“Dhurandhar was not an easy film to mount, not an easy film to execute. There were several challenges,” he said.
He added that the team remained hopeful and believed that if the film succeeded, it could “break new ground.”
As he prepares to embrace fatherhood for the second time, Ranveer also reflected on his career and spoke about the significance of the Ambani family’s support, particularly during a phase when some of his films were not performing well.
“I was given all the love, all the support and all the encouragement. Even at a time when my movies were not doing well,” he said.
The actor also described his association with the Ambani family as “a true blessing.”
Helmed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ was released in March 2026 and performed strongly at the box office.
The film also featured Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi in important roles.
On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Jai Mehta’s zombie thriller ‘Pralay’.
