A UK gym equipment supplier that has been trading for more than two decades has collapsed into administration, according to a notice published in the London Gazette. Escape Fitness Limited, which was incorporated on May 14, 2001, appointed administrators on April 27, 2026.
The appointment was made in the High Court of Justice, Business and Property Courts in Birmingham, Insolvency & Companies List (ChD), under court number CR-2026-BHM-000185. The London Gazette lists the company's registered office as c/o Forvis Mazars LLP, 30 Old Bailey, London, EC4M 7AU. Its principal trading address is 11-14 Tresham Road, Orton Southgate, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE2 6SG.
Scott Christian Bevan and Simon David Chandler, both of Forvis Mazars LLP, 1st Floor, Two Chamberlain Square, Birmingham, B3 3AX, were appointed as joint administrators.
The nature of the business is described as "non-specialised wholesale trade".
Administration is a formal insolvency process designed to protect a company from creditors while administrators assess whether it can be rescued, restructured or sold.
Companies House records show that Escape Fitness Limited currently has nine registered charges. Six are listed as outstanding and three are marked as satisfied.
An outstanding charge means a lender still holds security over company assets. If a company defaults, those lenders may have a claim over the secured property or assets.
Among the outstanding charges are filings created in March and April 2023 with lenders including Barclays Bank PLC, Reward Finance Group Limited and Cynergy Business Finance Limited.
Some of the charges reference leasehold property at 12 and 13 Tresham Road. Other entries list individuals and D A Phillips & Co Limited as persons entitled.
Escape Fitness describes itself as a global leader in functional fitness. On its website, the company says it works with operators and distributors to create performance-driven training environments.
It states: "Through the design of performance-driven training environments, development of innovative equipment, engaging programming and trainer education, Escape Fitness pushes the boundaries of what is possible and makes the ordinary extraordinary."
The company says it has delivered training solutions for gyms, universities, hotels, offices and homes around the world.

It is not yet clear what the administration will mean for staff, customers or ongoing projects.
