Drivers on the M4 were warned to expect long delays earlier this evening as two separate incidents prompted the closure of multiple lanes. Traffic was building up on the M4 westbound at junction 49/A48/A483 at Pont Abraham Roundabout following a collision, Traffic Wales said. It had blocked lanes in the area.

Separately, emergency services attended the scene of a crash on the M4 eastbound between junction J32 at Coryton and junction 30 at Cardiff Gate, WalesOnline reported. The incident caused the closure of two lanes, Traffic Wales said.
