Method of making millet khichdi


Bajra Khichdi is an excellent diet to stay healthy, which contains nutrients like protein, fiber, moisture, calcium, iron and phosphorus. Let us know how to make it:-


Material:
200 grams of millet, 150 grams of moong dal, 2 tablespoons of desi ghee, a pinch of asafoetida, half a teaspoon of cumin, some chopped green chillies, half a teaspoon of turmeric, a bowl of green peas, and salt as per taste.



Method:
First clean the millet thoroughly and remove its husk. Then heat ghee in the cooker, add asafoetida and cumin seeds in it. After this add green chilli, turmeric and peas and fry for two minutes. Now add washed lentils and crushed millet. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, then add four times the amount of water as millet and lentils. Switch off the cooker after one or two whistles. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
