DELHI FIREWORKS Permission: New Delhi: Prior to the Diwali festival, the Supreme Court has given great relief to the residents of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR), the Supreme Court has issued an important order, the court has allowed the sale and use of certified green fireworks only by the Neeri (National Environmental Engineering Research Institute). But with this approval, many strict conditions have also been laid.

The decision has come when the fireworks have already been banned in Delhi due to the increasing concern for air pollution. The court order has been issued to control environmental pollution and protect public health. The court explained that the use of green fireworks will be used for only four days. The court has made it clear that only fireworks will be sold on Diwali on October 7 to 8. At the same time, the ban on other types of fireworks will continue. The bench warned that the ban on the sale of these fireworks will continue even after this period and strict action will be taken against the manufacturers and vendors if the rules violated.

Several rules for selling and buying

The Supreme Court has issued strict guidelines for the sale of green fireworks. Green fireworks can only be sold at places assigned by certified companies. To ensure the convenience and honesty of the customer, the QR code on all green fireworks will be mandatory, allowing customers to verify their honesty.

Time limit for crackers

Considering the environmental concerns, the court has also fixed the strict time limit to break the fireworks. Green fireworks can be burst within just two time. Fireworks can be burst within four hours from 8am to 4pm and 4 pm to 4 pm.

The court has given strict instructions to the administration to ensure that the order obeyed. The police and the administration have been instructed to construct monitoring teams. The primary purpose of these squads is to closely monitor the production and sale of green fireworks. Following this order, the sale and use of green fireworks will be monitored in Delhi and the National capital (NCR) to keep the pollution under control.
