Comedian and actor Kiku Sharda has dismissed claims of his departure from The Great Indian Kapil Sharma show. These rumours began circulating followed by reports of his on-set argument with fellow comedian Krushna Abhishek. On Friday Sharda took to his Instagram and confirmed that he will always be a part of Kapil Sharmas team.

He posted a goofy black and white picture with Krushna Abhishek along with a note in the caption. He assured that the fight was just a prank and that they would remain friends forever. He wrote A never-ending story. Sharing the post Kiku captioned it Yeh bandhan… kabhi nahi tootega (This bond will never break)! (Flexed biceps and raising hands emojis) The fight was a prank only.

He shared that he is still a part of Kapil Sharmas show Don’t fall for all this gossip and rumours ki I’ve left The Great Indian Kapil Show. I’ll always be a part of the show and this parivaar (family). Toh yeh sab chhodo aur jao Netflix pe show dekho - sirf 3 episode baaki hain (So leave all these and go to Netflix to watch the show--which has only three episodes left) Kiku concluded.

Kikus post gave fans a sigh of relief. A social media user commented You both are the soul of the show without you guys the show is nothing. One commented Cant imagine show without Sunil Kiku Krushna. The chatter began when a papaarzo posted that Sharda had left the show. In a viral video he and Krushna appeared to be involved in a heated argument. Fans were quick to assume that the matter had pushed Sharda to walk out of the show sparking online discussion about the rifts emerging in the close-knit comedy show. However with Kikus latest post it seems that everything is fine between them.

Kiku will be next featuring in a new reality show Rise and Fall. Hosted by Shark Tank fame Ashneer Grover the show is streaming on Amazon MX Player from September 6.
