New Delhi: Defending champion Jannik Sinner defeated 25th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in the U.S. Open semi-finals on Saturday, September 6. He will now face Carlos Alcaraz in the blockbuster title clash on Sunday and renew one of the sport’s most compelling rivalries.

Shortly after Alcaraz dismantled 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic at Arthur Ashe Stadium, the Italian misfired at times but prevailed to ensure a third successive major final with the Spaniard.
