Earlier, this achievement was achieved by Mehdi Hasan Miraj of Bangladesh, who achieved this feat against Sri Lanka in 2013 at the age of 15 years and 167 days in Mirpur. Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina is also included in this list. Raina achieved this feat against England in 2002 at the age of 15 years and 242 days in Colombo. Meanwhile, Suryavanshi has now become the youngest holder of the youngest holder to score several half-centuries in the longest format in international under-19 cricket.

The first test was a draw

In the first youth Test, India batted first and scored 540 runs thanks to the centuries of captain Ayush Mhatre’s century and Vihan Malhotra, wicketkeeper Abhigyan Kundu, Rahul Kumar and RS Ambareesh.
