The lawyer said that permission was taken in 2002 as a precautionary measure as a part of the renewal after the construction of the ground floor and two -storey buildings. He said that GHMC did not pay attention to the request for inspection and regularization. Reacting to this, GHMC counsel said that action will be taken on the application as per law. The High Court, which ordered GHMC to take action on the petitioner’s application within four weeks, announced that he was shutting down the hearing.
