Famous teacher of Bihar Faizal Khan, known as Khan Sir, is once again under controversy. One of his viral videos has hurt the Dogra society of Jammu and Kashmir. In this video, Khan sir made objectionable comments against Maharaja Hari Singh and women of his family, the last Dogra ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, which Dogra Samaj has considered an attack on its historical heritage and women’s honors. The National Bajrang Dal has demanded strict action in this matter and urged the Bihar government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration to take legal steps immediately. Come, let us get into the depth of this dispute and understand what is the whole thing.

Why did Khan sir’s statement create a storm?

Khan sir, who is popular among millions of students for his simple and interesting teaching style, recently discussed the history of Jammu and Kashmir in a video. During this, he called Maharaja Hari Singh as “greedy and meant” and said that he delayed the inclusion of Jammu and Kashmir in India and dreamed of making Kashmir a Switzerland. Not only this, his comments about women of his family were also extremely objectionable. This statement not only hurt the sentiments of Dogra society, but also started a period of sharp reactions on social media. People consider it an irresponsible statement against women’s honor and historical pride.

Anger of Dogra society: a historical insult

The Dogra society of Jammu, which is proud of its rich cultural and historical heritage, is deeply hurt by this statement. The Dogra community sees Maharaja Hari Singh as a respected ruler, who played an important role in making Jammu and Kashmir a part of India. The society has considered such a comment against him as an attack on its identity and pride. On social media, people of Dogra community condemned Khan Sir and described it as an attempt to spoil social harmony. Many people not only considered it a misinterpretation of historical facts, but also saw it as a planned attempt, which can cause disharmony in society.

National Bajrang Dal’s response: Tough stance and action demand

The National Bajrang Dal has taken the matter seriously and has strongly condemned Khan Sir. The state president of the organization Rakesh Bajrangi said in a statement, “Those people who hurt our glorious history and women’s honors should not find any place in the society. We demand from the Bihar government and the Jammu and Kashmir administration that an FIR should be lodged immediately against Khan Sir under the appropriate sections of the Indian Penal Code and they should be punished severely.” He also warned that if no action is taken soon, the Bajrang Dal will take to the streets in a democratic manner and register its protest. The organization says that they will take all possible steps to protect the sentiments of Dogra society.
