Kerala’s Kochi [India] According to authorities, popular Malayalam rapper Hirandas Murali, also known as Vedan, was taken into custody on Monday after about six grams of ganja were found in his flat near Vyttila in Tripunithura.



“Ganja was discovered in the apartment, and Rs 9 lakhs were also recovered,” said Circle Inspector AL Yesudas. According to Vedan, this sum was used to reserve a space for an event. Because the necklace included leopard teeth, the Forest Department has also opened an investigation into it.


According to authorities, Vedan acknowledged to taking narcotics, and his apartment was occupied by nine individuals.


Indian rapper and composer Hirandas Murali, best known by his stage name Vedan, is from Kerala. Vedan initially became well-known in June 2020 when his debut music video, “Voice of the Voiceless,” was posted on YouTube.
