On Sunday, April 27, 2025, the body of Rohit Basfore, the actor from Family Man 3, who was supposed to appear in a series starring Manoj Bajpayee, was discovered. In Guwahati, Assam, his corpse was discovered next to a waterfall near the Garbhanga waterfalls.

Odisha Bytes said that a few months before, Rohit Basfore had returned to Guwahati from Mumbai. His family said that he had left home at 12.30 on Sunday to go out with friends, but they were unable to contact him later that day.

A few hours later, Rohit Basfore’s companion informed his family about the accident. While being transported to a hospital, the actor was pronounced dead.

But according to Rohit Basfore’s family, the actor was murdered. Three individuals—Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore—allegedly threatened to kill Rohit during a recent parking dispute.
