No more fastag marathi news:There will be a major change for those traveling on national highways in the country. The Central Government will start a new satellite-based toll collection system instead of fastag from May 1. Informing about this, Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the new toll policy would be introduced in the next 3 days and will be satisfactory for the passengers.

What is the new system?

The new toll system that the government is talking about is called the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). This is a GPS-based system, in which the vehicle's location will be tracked with the help of a satellite, and on that basis, toll charges will be deducted directly from the bank account at a fixed distance. This means that no longer need to stop at the toll plaza.

What is the difference between GNSS and Fastag?

Even though the Fastag system includes digital payment instead of cash, the vehicle has to be stopped while passing through the toll booth. Many times, it causes long queues. At the same time, the GNSS system works through a virtual toll booth. In this, the toll is calculated during the tracked distance of the vehicle and the money is paid directly from the bank account.

Use Fastag by April 1, then install new system

If you are already a fastag user, you don't have to panic. The government is slowly moving towards the new GPS-based toll system. With this change, your toll travel is going to be easier, transparent and hi -tech than ever.

What do Fastag users have to do?

Continue using Fastag by April 7. After that, install the government approved GPS equipment in your vehicle. Link your bank account with this new system. Once the system is fully operated, remove the fastag sticker.

What are the benefits of the new system?

You do not have to stop at the toll nose. Improving road safety by traveling without traveling and low pollution, without stopping. Complete transparency in toll cuts and billing.

This change is considered to be the largest stage in India's highway system so far. This system can be convenient for all private car owners to truck and transport area.

The government is preparing to launch a awareness campaign to explain GPS and to explain the new system. When you travel after May 1, the experience of filling the toll has changed and that is more smartly.
