According to the belief, this journey takes place in the same Amarnath cave where Lord Shiva narrated Amar Katha to Mata Parvati and since then this journey is considered religiously important. The government opens registration for this journey every year, in which many devotees participate. In such a situation, the government has started registration for the Amarnath Yatra of the year 2025 from April 14. This is how you can apply for Amarnath Yatra

Let us tell you that both online and offline registration of Amarnath Yatra has started from 14 April 2025. This time the journey will run from 29 June to 19 August 2025. To participate in Amarnath Yatra, you have to visit its official website www.jksasb.nic.in. After this you will be able to fill the registration form. For this you will need a passport size photo ID proof like Aadhaar, Voter ID or Passport and others. Apart from this, a medical certificate, it is necessary to get it made from the approved doctor of the Shrine Board. Apart from this, you will also have to deposit Rs 150 as registration fee. However, there may be changes in the registration fee. When you fill the form, you will get a soft copy of the travel permit, which is necessary to print and keep with you during the journey.

You will have to go to the bank for offline application

If you do not want to register online, then the government also provides you the facility of offline registration. For this you will have to take the travel forms from the bank. Which can be easily obtained at the branches of Punjab National Bank, Jammu and Kashmir Bank, Yes Bank and SBI Bank. There you can fill out your form by showing your medical certificate and get the travel permit. To get a medical certificate, you will get the list of authorized doctors and hospitals on the SASB website. Let us tell you that the certificate of any private doctor will not be valid.
