IPL 2025, DC vs MI: Delhi Capitals’ winning streak in the Indian Premier League 2025 ended as Mumbai Indians defeated them by 12 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Defending 205, Mumbai Indians bowlers were taken to the cleaners in the first half of the innings by Delhi’s impact substitution Karun Nair, who blasted 89 runs off just 40 balls with 12 fours and five sixes.

Karun Nair didn’t even spare Mumbai’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, tonking him for three fours and two sixes off the nine balls that he faced.

Karun Nair takes on Jasprit Bumrah to reach his #TATAIPL FIFTY after 7⃣ years 💙
Besides Nair’s incredible power-hitting and Mumbai’s dramatic comeback, there was another incident during the game that became a huge talking point. Karun Nair and Jasprit Bumrah were involved in a heated argument after the former unintentionally collided with the pacer while taking a run.

Karun Nair didn't do it deliberately. Bumrah is showing unnecessary aggression against Indian fellow.

The collision happened as the batter was looking to run two to complete his half-century and had his eyes on the ball. Bumrah, who was going back to the stump, just happened to be in the way, leading to the collision.
As soon as the bump happened, Nair immediately raised his hand and apologised to Mumbai’s lead pacer.

Many thought that it wasn’t a huge issue, and Bumrah blew it out of proportion by confronting Nair during the strategic time-out because the batter got the better of him on the night.
Furious with Bumrah’s conduct, many supporters accused him of being egoistic and lashed out at the pacer for not behaving like a salty loser.
This bumrah mdc thinks he is the greatest ever to play, karun apologized but he was still showing ego, respect every player.

Jasprit Bumrah restricts Karun Nair's Double for Half Century out of frustration !! After that he had the audacity to call out Karun during strategic time out.

Nair’s knock, however, couldn’t guide Delhi to their fifth straight victory of the season, as the lower-order batters failed miserably, with the last three batters getting run out off consecutive deliveries.
Delhi may have lost the game, but the 33-year-old batter, who was playing his first IPL game since 2022, impressed everyone, including opposition skipper Hardik Pandya. The nonchalant manner in which he flicked Bumrah for a six in the 6th over forced Hardik to applaud.
