Mumbai Actor Randeep Hooda shocked fans by showing up unexpectedly at a Chandigarh theater showing his most recent popular movie, Jaat. In Rohtak, which he fondly referred to as the “heart of Jaat land,” he visited his ancestral house after the visit.
Randeep said that he indulged in home-cooked meals during his passionate visit to Rohtak, Haryana, to commemorate the holiday of Baisakhi.
I traveled to Rohtak, my ancestral town and the center of Jaat country, with my brother, the film’s director and honorary director. At my Kaka’s place, we had some delectable home-cooked Haryanvi food and choorma. What better way to celebrate Jaat than to watch crowded TVs filled with viewers expressing their love and taalis and seetis?
Randeep has always proudly embraced his identity, according to a person close to the actor.
“This visit was symbolic and personal — Jaat’s success brought him back to where it all started,” the insider said. He shared this victory with his countrymen in a proud and passionate occasion. It meant the world to him to be with his family.
