Despite her achievements, she was often instructed to avoid wearing tennis clothes outside her home to avoid unwanted attention. These challenges, however, did not deter her, and she continued to pursue her passion for tennis.
Vaidehi Chaudhari’s journey to the top of Indian tennis was not conventional. She took up the sport at the age of 11, much later than most of her peers. Under the guidance of her uncle, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, Vaidehi Chaudhari embarked on her tennis journey. His strict training regime, including bodyweight exercises and extensive running, laid the foundation for her athletic success.
